Nagbigay ng reaksiyon si Davao City 3rd District Rep. Isidro Ungab matapos mapansin umano ang dami ng “haha” at “angry” reactions sa ilang social media posts na may kaugnayan sa mga personalidad at isyung iniuugnay sa administrasyon.

Sa kanyang Facebook post, sinabi ni Cong. Ungab na tila may kapansin-pansing pattern sa mga reaksyon ng netizens sa mga balitang may kinalaman sa mga kasalukuyang kontrobersiya sa Senado at pambansang pulitika.

Aniya:

“Napansin ninyo ba?”

“Sa tuwing may press release ang ilang personalidad na kaalyado ng administrasyon, hindi respetong komento ang sumasalubong sa kanila kundi buhos ng ‘haha’ at ‘angry’ reactions.”

“Hindi na ito kayang takpan ng bayad na survey o magarbong spin. Sa bawat emoji na panunuya at galit, malinaw ang mensahe: hindi na naniniwala ang taumbayan, kaya kahihiyan at pagkamuhi na lang ang ibinabalik sa kanila.”

Kalakip ng kanyang post ang iba’t ibang screenshots ng mga balita at social media posts mula sa mga pangunahing news organizations. Kabilang dito ang ulat tungkol sa pahayag ni Senador Ping Lacson na umano’y umabot na sa battalion at regional levels ang pagkadismaya sa armed services, ang pahayag ni Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian kaugnay ng security threat sa Senado, ang panawagan ni Fr. Flavie Villanueva para sa pagkakaisa.

Makikita sa mga screenshots na ibinahagi ni Cong. Ungab ang malaking bilang ng “haha” reactions kumpara sa iba pang emosyon sa ilang mga post na kanyang ipinakita bilang halimbawa.

Ang pahayag ni Ungab ay lumabas sa gitna ng nagpapatuloy na tensyon sa Senado kaugnay ng usapin sa liderato, mga pagdinig sa flood control investigation, at ang kontrobersya sa umano’y security threat na naging dahilan ng pagpapatupad ng work-from-home arrangement sa Senado.

Sa ngayon, wala namang partikular na personalidad na direktang pinangalanan si Cong. Ungab sa kanyang post. Gayunman, ipinahiwatig niya na ang mga nakikita niyang reaksyon sa social media ay sumasalamin umano sa lumalawak na pagkadismaya ng mga mamamayan sa ilang personalidad na kaalyado ng administrasyon.

Out-of-pocket spending of patients in the Philippines remains high at 42.7–44.4% of current health expenditure (above the lower-middle-income country average of 35.5%).

Despite PhilHealth expansions and no co-payment policies in public wards, patients still face costs for medicines, diagnostics, specialist fees, and services in private facilities or when benefits fall short.

This leads to catastrophic expenses, debt, or skipped care especially for chronic conditions, cancer, dialysis, or rehab (even with new packages).
