We have learnt today that Brian Goode has passed away. He was a major stalwart of Canon Frome CC. Captain for many years and groundsman too. Brian was respected and regarded by so many in Herefordshire. He will be missed. Please raise your bats to Brian on this sad news.🏏

A great win @MoccasCC yesterday for our 2nd X1. Bowling our hosts out for 97 with some fine bowling in the extreme heat. In reply, an early hat trick from Matty James left us on 20-3, Will and Paul saw the game home with plenty of overs to spare #upthefrome #marchescricketleague

Our 2nd X1 clinched the 3rd Division title yesterday after beating @AlmeleyCC by 2 runs in a close fought game🏆🏏 @CricketMarches #herefordshirecricket #marchescricketleague

T20 action for our 2nd X1 today in the @CricketMarches Junior Cup. After restricting @B_LCC to 119 off their 20 overs we knocked the runs off in the 14th over for the loss of 1 wicket. We progress to Finals Day on 4th September 🏏💪

Winning the toss we batted first and set a target of 249-7, Carl Jacobs top scoring with 81. In reply a fantastic bowling display saw us bowl the visitors out for 95 on a very hot day. Good luck to Kington for the rest of the season 🏏☀️👏

After a delayed start our 2nd X1 beat @MoccasCC by 8 wickets. @LukeyG25 with 5, @jasefletch01 & @WillStephens90 2 apiece. The same trio scored the runs to see the game home in the 33rd over. Luke Griffiths picking up MOM again, fully deserved. All the best to Moccas 🏏
