Police in #Myanmar’s capital today face off against protesters demanding the military reverse its coup and release civilian leaders.

Several were shot and at least one is in a critical condition with a head wound.

The Three Brotherhood Alliance of AA, TNLA and MNDAA have released a 'felicitation letter', congratulating the KIA on their 60th Kachin Revolution Day, which is Feb 5th. No mention of the coup in the letter; the Brotherhood has yet to make any public response to it. #Myanmar

The arrests in Myanmar continue. Win Htein, an aide to Suu Kyi & senior NLD member, was arrested last night. He is 79 years old and in fragile health. From the car in which he was being taken away, he said he was not scared & had done nothing wrong.
