Modern luxury is the ability to live quietly. No drama. No noise. No pretending to be someone you are not. Just living low-key. Reading. Thinking. Listening to music. Staring at walls. Going for walks. Watching old movies. Being bored. Working on your purpose. And feeling life deeply. That is peace.
Anyone else notice the complete lack of parenting etiquette in the last decade or so? No one takes their crying babies out of theaters anymore. No one tells their screaming misbehaved kids to stfu in restaurants or otherwise public spaces that require manners. Wtf happened
I don’t dream about luxury. For me, luxury is freedom. Quiet mornings. Unrushed coffee. Long walks in nature. Work that feels meaningful. A few people who feel like home. Time to read. Reflect. Think about things that matter. A simple peaceful life. Rich in depth, less in noise.
