There’s a need to shift the narrative in the tech industry to recognize and value this ‘ordinary’ work. Not every developer will work on AI, blockchain, or the latest buzzword technology. And that’s okay. Most do it to clothe, feed, and shelter those they love, and this is noble.
For fun, I’ve been writing my personal opinions on AI in the SDLC. It could be the next @CantonCoders but it’s a fun place to think. https://t.co/tDUytuL0aR
We just ran a job fair for dozens of people looking for jobs in coding. We recommend plumbing. We’re not trolling, the job market is rough, AI is changing how we work - and we just don’t see how AI is going to replace your water heater.
ColumbusJS is tomorrow! This month we have @integerman presenting "Making your code suck less without setting fire to production". Doors open at 6:30pm; talk starts at 7pm. RSVP at https://t.co/pABDZjhWPq.
And thanks to @improvingOhio for hosting and sponsoring!
