February 4, 2026, will be an early dismissal day for students, allowing for a professional development day for teachers. Please make any necessary arrangements.
The dismissal times for the 80% days are as follows:
1:15-Elementary Schools
1:45-Middle Schools
2:30-Canton High

Canton Public Schools and offices will resume their normal operating schedule on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. We’re excited to continue our journey of teaching and learning together.

The Canton Public School District will reopen on a slightly delayed schedule on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. All school and central office personnel should report at their regular times. Buses will begin running slightly later, starting at 7:00 a.m. Classes will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Due to the threat of inclement weather and freezing conditions, the Canton Public School District will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. Teachers will post extra credit practice assignments in Google Classroom or Canvas (CHS).Stay Safe!
