@YRDSB They could cancel buses and keep schools open to not lose funding. Only teachers would have to drive in these conditions in that case - a problem in and of itself. Not sure what prompted this ridiculous decision to make students go in as well.

@guy_canadian @aarts_michelle @shelleylaskin @CTVNews @OPSBA Parents had the option to withdraw children from the sexual health component (ex STIs) based on religious reasons. Not enough were withdrawn to warrant repealing an entire Curriculum and reverting to an outdated 20 year old version. Does that answer your question?

@TitanicMovie was a big hit when #SexEdin1998 was in use. Rose was pressured into an unhealthy relationship by her mother. The 2015 #HPE curriculum encourages students to recognize the signs of abusive relationships & helps them find supports to get out of it. #onpoli #onted

A line from "This Kiss" by Faith Hill, released in 1998, "This KISSSS: Unstoppable!" Actually, that's totally untrue, @FaithHill. The 2015 #Ontario curriculum teaches kids about #consent, and lets them know that they have decision-making power over their bodies.
