This spring we redid our bourbon exhibit and got to feature the awesome Old Taylor Distillery, now @castleandkey distillery! If you've not been by to check out the remodel, we can't wait to see you! #ArchivesHashtagParty#ArchivesPostcards
This is one of our favorite views of the city. That federal building is still there, and it's gorgeous! After it was the courthouse and post office, it was converted into a library! @psplib has since moved, but you should check out their old building on the way to the book sale!
Here's an #ArchivesPostcard of the old Capital Hotel. The hotel burned as the result of a horrible fire. What is now the museum is located in a former part of the hotel. If you look in the right spots, you can still see the burn from the fire. #ArchivesHashtagParty
We can't wait to see you tomorrow! The book signing for At the Bend of the River is from 12 - 1. We're taking pre-orders for the book the rest of the day!
A final image for the #ArchivesHashtagParty is that of the famous ginko tree on Washington in the 40s! If you love these tree images, we hope you'll donate to the Canopy Plan here in town. We love #ArchivesTrees and all they bring to the community!
