No Chinese manufacturer has claimed those product as their 'original design'. They did terribly by erasing the brand and designer but never as what Dior did. Maybe that's not C appropriation, I agree, and instead, that's ROBBERY.

new design of Dior 22fall is actually doing cultural appropriation!
Image 1&2 is a skirt newly released by Dior. Image 3 is traditional Chinese Skirt called Ma Mian. Of which, the shape and cropping are unique and cannot be found anywhere else except China after Ming.

@asi38674 But pleats have no type matching all features I mentioned. Unique shape, unique position of folds and unique cropping. Some one who knows fashion design has bought this product and it is identical to a modernized Mamian skirt designed years ago. And Dior is trying to get patent.
