@SSGSentinel I played Destint up until the launch of Destiny 2 and ive played ever since. Met my best friend through D2 and so many other great people. At least there's one more update to send it out on.

So it’s Memorial Day Weekend already…damn. Every year I get emotional about it.

I knew a guy, I put him in the Army as an infantryman.

He got killed on his first deployment, and it tore me up, hit me like a ton of bricks.

His family all told me that they were proud of him, and thankful that I gave him purpose with his life, because he wasn’t doing anything with it prior.

They told me that they were thankful that he had the opportunity to serve his country and go out like a hero.

It’s been almost 20 years, and I still struggle with it.

So this memorial day we’re not celebrating the living, we’re celebrating the sacrifices of those that didn’t come back.
