$BTC price action around the New Year time is usually quite bearish... excluding 2023, the lowest bear market point.

Coincidentally, January 20th is Trump's inauguration, which imo will cause a short-term dump as well - I am mildly bearish until January 25th-ish, but giga bullish from there on until May 2025.

New Year is usually bullish for crypto in a bull market.
However, it does carry some weird price action:
1. We usually get a slow, sideways market a few weeks before / after the new years because of the holiday season.
2. New Year tends to bring some weird swings that have big wicks to the downside - yesterday's flush was nothing compared to previous years and everyone is already panicking...

Do you guys understand BTC ETFs bought $4.2B worth of $BTC in the last 5 days..? Try to wrap your head around how much money this is.

The search term "Bitcoin" is also rising like crazy, indicating that retail might be coming in as well...

From this we can derive 2 things:
1. Imagine the rally in altcoins when capital rotation from BTC happens...
2. People are so stupid - #Bitcoin is an absolute scam at $20k, but "Digital gold" and "Hedge against inflation" at 85k...

So when you are telling me that my memes are a scam, I say "good luck being poor and buying the the".
