We are a group of Acton residents who have come together to give our community a united voice against the gross over-development of Friary Park.

The word corruption seems to be cropping up at #FriaryPark as the developers appear to be pretending to be making a huge loss so they can justify reducing the social + other affordable housing to boost their profits by millions of pounds. We hope @ealingcouncil stand up to them.
SOCIAL HOUSING SCANDAL
Will @EalingCouncil stand up to the developers at Friary Park who have ripped up their commitment to provide social housing and attempt to reduce the amount of social rent properties to 73 fewer flats than were at the old Friary Park, 2 boost their profits.
Good news for all the people of Acton who opposed overdevelopment at #FriaryPark. The developer's greed has led them to fall foul of the new @EalingCouncil Local Plan, which states buildings at #FP should be no higher than 14 floors

It’s important as many people in Ealing and Acton know about this to prevent @EalingCouncil and @mountanvil paving the way for taller towers, and more of them.
An important article in @standardnews shining a light on the profit driven way developers @mountanvil and @catalysthousing are operating at #friarypark, and how @ealingcouncil are turning a blind eye - which is not solving the housing crisis.

@_petermason Peter…Have you seen this: https://t.co/nSfb2mcdI7. Are @mountanvil playing ball by marketing the #friarypark flats to the richest people in the world? Or is that one you’re turning a blind eye to? Just be honest with the electorate in Acton, @WarrenFarmNR and the rest of Ealing
Acton campaigners @CapTheTowers challenge @_petermason leader of @EalingCouncil saying “Peter Mason’s council appears to be on the side of the big institution trying to twist arms & bully through a scheme” re: @mountanvil@catalysthousing Friary Park.

A @CapTheTowers investigation has revealed that the developers at #FriaryPark have launched another marketing campaign to the world’s richest people, this time in Singapore while reducing the proportion of social housing. https://t.co/nSfb2mcdI7
@_petermason You must be disappointed that @mountanvil and @catalysthousing are doing a hard sell of the flats at #friarypark as investment properties for the global rich in Singapore, China and Saudi Arabia. I’ll get @CapTheTowers to send you the details.
