“44% of Yemen's population, some 10 million people, lack access to sufficient, nutritious food. Of these, roughly 5 million people are in extreme difficulty—without assistance, they will not have enough sustenance to survive.” 1/
part of resisting war is resisting the war economy. i’m organizing this with my neighbors in @RepMikeQuigley’s district as he continues to take campaign contributions from companies that profit off of conflict. can other folks in chicago join us? (@Blacks4Peace, @CapaDepaul)
🧵Over the past week, the US-supported, Saudi/UAE assault on Yemen has intensified, met with international silence. Many have reached out asking how they can help. Here are some actions you can take today. 1/
Although we cannot be on the ground, we won’t allow the injustices in Palestine to go unnoticed. We must demand justice for families in Jerusalem. DEMAND JUSTICE NOW, follow the link below to contact your representative. https://t.co/xum0fVVz9F #FreePalestine
This little detail of naming who are behind the "airstrikes" is crucial! Airstrikes are committed by the KSA/UAE led coalition, who are armed & trained by the U.S. Plz don't leave that out. Be the voice of Yemenis, they've been cut off from the world for THREE DAYS #YemenBlackout
This war is being waged on yemen by the Saudi and UAE governments. their efforts wouldn’t be possible without the assistance of the United States.
These three countries are starving out 30 million people while raining down bombs on their homes. Don’t speak gently about it.

Keith LaMar is a death row prisoner who was wrongfully convicted in the State of Ohio. The State intends to execute him, even though he has maintained his innocence for nearly 30 years.
Him and his team work tirelessly to advocate for his freedom. He has written a book and many articles about his story and continues to organize for himself and others facing the effects of the US legal system.
