Today we released our first Cape Town “Procurement Transparency Report”, which details what the City pays for various goods and services.

The report shows that 79% of our procurements are at or below market rates ✅

This means that our city is getting value for public money, and we're able to deliver services to residents more cost effectively 🚰🏗️👷‍♂️

I challenge other governments to follow our lead and publish similar reports to promote financial transparency and accountability 💪

That Cheslin Kolbe conversion charge down. I’ve seen that happen maybe 3-5 times in pro rugby. All wingers try it, mostly to put the kicker off. The actual charge down hardly ever comes off. Those were two points that would have won it for France.
