RIP to my old account (@capisha), taken by hackers. It held years of community, creativity & connection. Starting over isn’t easy, but I’m here, rebuilding. If we’ve ever shared a moment, I’d love to reconnect. A share means more than you know. Thank you.

@fangirlofmerle So freaking good I wasn’t sure what her character was going to be in this, but when she came on the screen I was like yess Merle this is a different side and I was loving it.
Has anyone watched @MerleDandridge in Season 2 of #citadel
She’s so good as Joana Malvern. We’ve seen so many sides of Merle over the years, but this spicy, dangerous energy is so much fun to watch. She absolutely killed it. That ending though 👀 I wanted more.
Even a short, calm statement tends to land better professionally. At the end of the day, people should absolutely treat staff, vendors & organizers with kindness & respect. But businesses also have to understand that public facing responses shape the tone of the conversation too.
What a nice respectful tweet acknowledged the human side of conventions & reminding people that a lot of hard work goes into creating these experiences.
Instead of criticizing, take a moment to realize that there are real humans behind all of this. People working A LOT, to make our dreams come true and create unforgettable moments for US. A little kindness and understanding can mean everything.
Sometimes it’s more effective to address the small number of truly inappropriate people privately through DMs or emails, rather than responding publicly in a way that can shift the overall narrative or make the wider fanbase feel blamed.
