@BrigadeReview@Buddie52 I'm not sure. 2019 could be the year that changed army football if they lean into it. Triple option may not have to be the future.
@BrigadeReview@Buddie52 Are you an attorney making happy to glad changes on what i said? Not going to get into semantics. He had the success, hasn't sustained it. He had my support during the lean years, but this many years in he should be building a dynasty not rebuilding.
@BrigadeReview It would be a start. But 19 losses would include losses to navy which is another unacceptable streak. So no wouldn't be okay with that. Picking a QB is a start, if he actually did that then we could talk about the D. But that's outside this scope.
@BrigadeReview I get it. Thing is he had the success and never built on it. He tries to be too cute swapping out QBs for this play or that play. And losing seasons don't matter as much as beating navy. It's not just some normal rivalry game. It's THE game.
@BrigadeReview And Monken can completely convince me otherwise if he picked a QB and stuck with him. But this QB by platoon is not working, and never works. Need a team leader and go with it.
@BrigadeReview Well, you're way more patient than me. Losing mentality on the field equals losing mentality in the field. Culture of loss is not good for Army. Yes, i went there.
@BrigadeReview I didn't say that. I said if he loses to navy again. Who gives a crap about regular season record. And by the way 1-11 this year and 0-12 next means three consecutive years of losses against navy, you must like losing to the squids
@BrigadeReview Bookmark this thread. If Monken loses again against Navy and plays QB by platoon we can reflect. If he actually sticks with one QB, I'll be surprised.
@BrigadeReview Is it though? He's gotta let one of the guys be THE QB, but he's done the swapping for two seasons now. At least Ken sticks with his QB. This is not good for the now or the future. Jeff tries to be too cute and it's ugly on the field.
