As we do every September, all leagues are currently being updated. Expect full rosters to be completed by the end of the month.
Roster Update Timeline:
To all users and clients who have inquired about updates over the past month: we do not track live rosters during transfer window periods, focusing instead only on major name transfers. As a yearly reminder, please do not consider rosters fully updated until September 20th and February 20th respectively. This timing allows us to gather salary data from our network of partner clubs and player agencies, in addition to media publications. Our network of contributing clubs and agencies continues to grow rapidly.
Enhanced Bonus Tracking:
Gross bonuses, which were previously tracked inconsistently across our database on an individual basis, have now been systematically added for every player. Historical data for past years will be incorporated in future updates.
Expanded Financial Coverage:
Our Financial Statements coverage will expand from 28 to 44 leagues over the coming months, with continued growth planned. This expansion strengthens the foundation for our player estimations.
As a reminder, we track base salaries and now, performance-related incentive bonuses for first-team rosters only. We do not include other player-related costs such as image rights, signing bonuses, exit fees, agent fees, and pension costs, which represent a significant percentage of personnel expenses and could skew total figures.
New FFP Platform:
We've launched our FFP Ratios platform for investment funds and industry professionals, featuring detailed fields extracted from financial notes and processed into advanced financial ratios. Currently available for the Big 5 leagues, with expansion to additional leagues planned.
Stay tuned for future announcements!

⚫🟦 Ausilio gives full interview on Dumfries, Icardi, Ibrahimovic, and Lukaku peace deal
Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio delivered an extensive and revealing interview on Alessandro Cattelan’s podcast “Supernova,” offering fans a deep look into the club’s transfer strategy, player relationships, and internal dynamics.
On Denzel Dumfries, Ausilio confirmed the decision was unavoidable due to the Dutch defender triggering his release clause. He said: “The upcoming transfer window will be like the last ones — handled with attention. People shouldn’t be misled; you can’t buy everything you want. Dumfries will leave after exercising his clause.” But he reassured fans about the club’s plan to replace departing players: “I can reassure all the fans: for every important player who leaves, another equally important one will arrive. We want to build a competitive team, without hiding anything: if you think about fighting to win, you will be competitive. And that’s what Inter will do, and we can guarantee that.”
When asked about Hakan Çalhanoğlu and the claims made by Fenerbahçe’s presidential candidate Hakan Safi about a completed deal, Ausilio remained firm: “There’s a problem: Çalhanoğlu has a contract, Inter wants to keep him, and I don’t think those statements can have any meaning or continuation.” He added humorously, “I hope he still has something left, since they’ve bought all the players in the world, sporting directors and coaches.”
On the defensive front, Ausilio confirmed the club would strengthen due to the expiring contracts of Matteo Darmian and Roberto Acerbi. “In defense, we will do something, simply for a purely numerical reason since Darmian and Acerbi are leaving. Solet is one of the players we’re following, like him there are others, but we will definitely present ourselves with a good defender by the start of training.”
Ausilio also confirmed active interest in Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, recalling previous attempts to sign him. “We tried to make the deal in January. We will try again with this player; if we meet on what we consider the right valuation, great, otherwise we’ll do something else.”
The interview also touched on Mauro Icardi and Zlatan Ibrahimović, with Ausilio reflecting on their time at Inter and the lasting impact they made on the squad. He spoke about the reconciliation process with Romelu Lukaku, describing how the club managed to resolve past tensions and restore a positive relationship with the Belgian striker.
Closing with comments on the Champions League, Ausilio emphasized the club’s ambitions, echoing president Giuseppe Marotta’s words: “The president wants to do the maximum in the Champions League, like all of us. Competing in Italy is definitely less difficult than in the Champions League, but when we start the season, we never decide what we want to win. We want to try to do well in everything.”
The interview provided an unprecedented look into Inter’s market strategy, internal relationships, and the club’s vision for the upcoming season.

🌍 FIFA’s record World Cup revenues draw fresh criticism
FIFA is facing renewed scrutiny as the 2026 World Cup is set to become the most lucrative tournament in its history, with critics questioning how the money is raised and redistributed. The cycle ending with this summer’s event is expected to generate about $13 billion, while FIFPRO says FIFA is using its regulatory power to advance commercial interests.
A major flashpoint is ticketing. FIFA’s official resale marketplace charges 15% on both the buyer and seller sides, and the organization has also embraced dynamic pricing, which has pushed costs far beyond what many fans expected. Supporter groups argue the system turns the World Cup into a premium product rather than a global festival.
FIFA says the income is reinvested into football worldwide through development programs, federation grants, and prize money. Still, critics say the distribution model is opaque and benefits smaller federations equally, regardless of size, while host cities and governments shoulder many of the event’s extra costs.

👑 Florentino Pérez re-elected as Real Madrid president: Mourinho named new coach
Florentino Pérez has been re-elected president of Real Madrid with 65% of valid votes, defeating challenger Enrique Riquelme who received nearly 12,000 votes compared to Pérez’s 21,000. Pérez will now lead the club until 2030.
With the leadership confirmed, Real Madrid is turning its focus to the 2026/27 season after two trophyless years and a technical revolution that has struggled to take off. To return the club to the top of La Liga and Europe, Pérez has chosen José Mourinho as the new head coach, marking the second chapter of the “Special One’s” era at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Mourinho’s appointment comes with major transfer moves already finalized: Ibrahima Konaté has joined on a free from Liverpool, and Denzel Dumfries has arrived after Real triggered his €20 million release clause with Inter. The club is also preparing a €150 million offer for a top player from midfield upwards, reportedly Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise.
To bring Mourinho in, Real Madrid must officially pay the €15 million release clause to Benfica to free him from his contract. The increased amount reflects the delay caused by the election process, with the original clause being €7 million.

⚖️ San Siro investigation faces judicial backlash over probe methods
Italy’s Court of Review has strongly criticized the investigation into the San Siro sale, questioning how Milan prosecutors handled the case involving Inter and AC Milan’s stadium purchase.
The court rejected key evidence and ruled that investigators were not properly seeking proof of a crime, but instead trying to uncover one. This judgment came while annulling the seizure of phones and private messages belonging to officials linked to the deal.
Judges also condemned the broad examination of personal data from seized devices, calling it illegitimate and warning it risked invasive profiling. The case itself centers on alleged irregularities in the 2025 sale of the stadium from the City of Milan to the two clubs.
The ruling represents a major setback for prosecutors and raises concerns over investigative practices in high-profile football-related cases.

🏙️ New York faces major event clash between NBA Finals and World Cup
New York could be heading toward a logistical nightmare this summer as the NBA Finals and the 2026 World Cup overlap on June 16. On that day, a potential Game 6 at Madison Square Garden could take place just hours after the World Cup match between France and Senegal at MetLife Stadium.
Although the two events are scheduled at different times, the overlap is expected to put serious pressure on transportation and public safety. Penn Station and NJ Transit are already planning restrictions, including limited access for regular commuters and priority boarding for World Cup ticket holders.
Authorities are concerned about heavy congestion, especially with fans moving between venues. Recent celebrations by Knicks fans have already shown how difficult crowd control can become, raising concerns ahead of what could be one of the busiest days of the summer.
