“Israel does not have a problem with the Democratic Party, Israel has a problem in America”@RahmEmanuelspeaking directly to Israelis
The problem is Israel’s false claim to represent Jews everywhere.
Israel represents Israelis, not American Jews.
Many of the tensions you see today between Haiti and countries like the United States and the Dominican Republic can be traced back to the time of Louis Borno.
Louis Borno was a mixed-race Haitian, born to a white French father and a Black Haitian mother. He studied law in France and became part of Haiti’s elite class. Many believe he did not fully identify with the Black country, which is why the United States chose him to lead Haiti after President Dartiguenave.
Borno was never chosen by the people. He was selected and re-selected by a U.S.-controlled council. There were no real elections, and the press was controlled, he was a De Facto president.
He worked closely with U.S. officials, allowing them to control Haiti’s money, economy, police, and major systems.
Under his rule, poor black Haitians were forced to do unpaid labor. Many saw this as a return to slavery.
Haiti’s main bank also fell under U.S. control, sending money to American investors instead of helping Haitians.
As conditions got worse, people protested. In 1929, U.S. Marines opened fire on protesters in Aux Cayes, killing and injuring many.
That same year, Borno made a border deal with the Dominican Republic which was backed by the United States, that gave away Haitian land, shrinking the size of Haiti, making the Dominican bigger, creating long-term tension in terms of lands and ownership with the two countries.
Do you know in 2014, Ukraine needed a loan?
There were two offers on the table:
🔴 The IMF dangled $15 billion, but with strings attached:
-Scrap the ban on private land ownership.
-Slash pensions and subsidies,classic austerity.
🔴 Russia also offered $15 billion,no strings, no neoliberal gutting of the economy.
President Viktor Yanukovych picked the Russian deal.
So what happened?
Washington instigated a coup, ousted him, and installed a new puppet regime.
The new government bent the knee to the IMF, signed off on austerity program and opened the door to privatization.
Now, massive chunks of Ukrainian land, about a third, are in the hands of foreign giants like BlackRock.
And just for the record, BlackRock is the former employer of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
Coincidence?
🤔
🚨 The 1974 Kissinger Report just exposed how Washington really saw Africa.
A secret U.S. strategy document named Nigeria, Egypt, and Ethiopia as threats not because of armies or nukes… but because their populations were growing too fast.
The fear? Too many Africans = not enough cheap raw materials for America.
Professor Kent Hodge breaks it down in this clip.
The report shaped decades of Western policy : IMF Structural Adjustment Programs that locked Africa into the “resource curse” exporting raw minerals cheap and importing expensive finished goods.
Population control efforts ramped up across the continent.
This wasn’t “aid.” This was resource geopolitics at its rawest.
Africa’s resources. Africa’s future. Africa’s people.
They were never asking for permission.
