This was Welles Crowther who famously became known as the man in the red bandana on 9/11. He saved at least 18 people primarily from the sky lobby in the South Tower after the wing of Flight 175 crashed through the lobby. Among those he saved were two of my mother's coworkers by leading them down the stairs and he kept going back up and down those stairs until the South Tower imploded upon him. These are the kind of people that deserve to be remembered because they are heroes!
