I was a die-hard Apple fan up until the iPhone 15 Pro Max and I was fully immersed into the Apple ecosystem. Then I grabbed the S24 Ultra… and still bought the 16 Pro Max out of pure FOMO. But somewhere along the way, Android won me over. I upgraded to the S25 Ultra, and now my daily driver is the Z Fold 7.
Meanwhile, my 16PM just sits around collecting more dust than actual screen time as my “secondary.”
When the 17PM dropped, the FOMO hit me hard again and almost pulled the trigger. But I didn’t. I stuck with my 16PM, because truth is, I barely touch it anymore. Android + its AI-driven quirks keep me too entertained.
I prefer the customazibilaty of OneUi over the "seamlesness" of iOS and that ecosystem. I use the clipboard every day, and I find it awkward that iOS still has no universal back gestures..
Maybe it would be different if I was a professional photographer/videographer who uses the iPhone's camera capabilities to it's fullest, but that's not me. I just want to enjoy tech and I prefer more versatile phones.
To put it in a nutshell: People should buy whatever they want. But they shouldn't buy stuff, especially smartphones in that price-range, out of pure FOMO. 🤔
@UniverseIce Stop spitting bullshit. When the Fold 8 released, you were among the biggest meat riders. You will change your mind again and again, as soon as a chinese OEM releases a new fold, or when the Fold 9 comes out.
@OutofGalaxyy@UniverseIce Software is much nicer can't argue. I don't like the hardware (thicker, much heavier), and the Price is really bad.
As a secondary device I would love to use it but the price is steep ngl
It is funny to see all the "Samsung is cooked" posts and comments from people with zero brain-cells.
Apple didn't cook anything - they released a good foldable, but it's not revolutionary in any way.
Always have to mute these buzzwords every year Apple releases their flagships or stay away from Twitter for 2 weeks.
@DadGoneDigital@taekwonmaster01@Retroid0fficial Depends on the other specs, like the screens and materials they use. Upper screen will be Oled 120 HZ for sure. If bottom screen is an IPS panel, it will be cheaper than the Thor.
If not, I think it will be in the same range
