Briefly resurfacing to say I have moved over yonder, new pastures, fresh horizons, open spaces, etc. Account here remains technically active, but I won't be reading or posting.
TORONTO: When you're voting today, remember that only progressive mayoral candidate Ana Bailão can stop status-quo right-wing city councillor Ana Bailão

@GeoffPevere I just can't watch them like that, but that's my own hang-up. Between Mondo Canuck, TVO's Film International and your time at the Toronto Star, you definitely had an influence on my own cinephilia - so thanks!
Thread about why you should *NOT* be duped by Brad Bradford's faux-progressive speech come mayoral election time. Take it from someone in his ward, HE IS NOT IT.

This is a wild thing to brag about in a province that saw water contamination deaths a generation ago, and thousands of seniors die living in poorly-inspected, for-profit squalor homes in the last 2-3 years. But that’s @fordnation and his MPPs, callous and corrupt at all times.
@Kza I haven't read them myself, but are you aware of the books where famed costume designer Edith Head solves mysteries in 1930s Hollywood? Design For Dying by Renee Patrick is the first one in the series.
