People get 2% of the value of moneys recovered from the fraud they expose. This won't require an independent budget line plus be a far greater incentive to expose the biggest fraud, first.

@UnoMasReactor I agree fully. My sub was smaller (SSN vs SSGN), but same setup, mostly. Here's the simplified way I explained things in my novel. Everyone seems to fear radiation, but I'd get more from a day at the beach than being 20' from an active reactor.

@johnkonrad The answer would be to install a a high energy weapon on a telescoping mast. Cut gashes into the hull. They will sink. Or, just disable the engine room. We don't need to sink them, just disable them 🤷🏼‍♂️

@mediQate @GovNuclear Because submarine reactors are relatively small & designed to roughly split the output steam into electrical generation & propulsion. So, in Port, ½ the output is wasted. Plus they are ridiculously expensive vs. SMRs. Like using a Bentley to haul manure.

Sub-critical = hitting the brakes (slowing down)
Critical = Cruise Control (steady speed)
Super-critical = hitting the gas (going faster)
All 3 are "good" (normal reactor operations).
Bombs hit a 4th tier: Prompt-critical (boom)
Reactors can't hit that.

@GenCurtLeMay @ENERGY @grok The phrase "light water" comes from the opposite type: Heavy Water. Light water is basically normal H₂O. Heavy water is where a significant amount of Hydrogen is replaced with its isotopes Deuterium (H²) & Tritium (H³). All Naval Reactors are light water reactors.

@ThePatriotOasis Minor correction: The amnesty is for everyone EXCEPT the class of 2026. They just graduated, got commissioned, and are no longer midshipmen. The amnesty applies the the classes of 2027, 2028, & 2029.
