Dear Mother,
With the campaign ended, winds of change have blown over camp. Gen Peterson has been appointed to lead us in the upcoming campaign. I look forward to returning to battle.

Dear Mother,
After a victorious march to Oklahoma we have turned north. The Falls is our destination. Many have already predicted the outcome. I say let it be decided in battle.

Dear Mother,
We have made camp in Kansas City. Battle ensues tomorrow. The campaign draws near an end. We intend to finish with victories before the battle at the Falls.

Dear Mother,
Our long strange march reached Macomb again. The men battled bravely and with great determination. I am most proud to report victory! The journey home shall be a joyous one!

Dear Mother,
The men fought wonderfully and wet e able to secure victory in St Paul. There is little time to celebrate however as we retrace our steps and head back south.
-AJ
Dear Mother,
The men were attacked by pioneer men last evening. I am happy to report that that attack was thwarted and victory was ours. Maverick men now approach from the south. Confidence builds amongst the men. We are ready.
-AJ
Dear Mother,
We have made camp in rabbit territory. Newspaper men give us little chance in battle with them. Their doubt will be our motivation. We attack soon.
