This week alone:
DOJ opens an investigation into the woman Trump raped.
The White House is caught steering a $620 million contract to Don Jr.’s firm.
The Pentagon hands out a $10 billion contract after Trump buys stock in the company.
Foreign governments are caught funneling hundreds of millions into a random JPMorgan account tied to Trump’s “Board of Peace” with no oversight.
It’s just Thursday.
The corruption isn’t hidden anymore. It’s happening out in the open.
BREAKING: New Arizona poll shows overwhelming opposition to virulently anti-union HCR2040. 85% oppose #AZleg efforts to punish public school teachers for union activity. Also a huge majority supports reforming or ending Arizona’s out-of-control $1 billion ESA voucher system. Only 33% would leave it as is.
The people in charge have harped on and on that they increased the Child Tax Credit by $200.
First of all, $200 is not enough in an economy rigged for the rich.
Secondly, the same exact law kicked 1.5 MILLION off the credit.
Pay attention, folks.
The system is broken.
Billionaires get richer. Workers get replaced by algorithms.
The economic disruption is here. And California is taking action today.
We have to build a future that protects workers, supports small businesses, and ensures the new economy works for everyone, not just a handful of tech companies.
It’s time to rewrite the rules to make sure THE PEOPLE benefit.
This New York Times piece is worth your time. Here’s what is happening, as simply as I can put it.
Back in January, Trump sued the IRS, an agency he controls, demanding $10 billion over the leak of his tax returns a number of years ago.
IRS lawyers did their jobs. They wrote a memo laying out the defenses that could beat the suit, including the fact that Trump filed too late. His own lawyer was in court when the leaker pleaded guilty in October 2023, more than two years before Trump sued.
The Justice Department never showed up to court. Never argued back. Never used the defenses sitting on their desk.
The judge got suspicious and ordered both sides to explain whether they were actually opposing each other or just colluding. The day before that brief was due, Trump dropped the suit.
Same day, his Justice Department announced a $1.776 billion taxpayer-funded “anti-weaponization fund.”
Trump gets a formal apology. The IRS agrees to drop any audits of him and his family, even though a 2024 Times report found a loss in an ongoing audit could cost him over $100 million.
The acting Attorney General, Trump’s former criminal defense attorney, picks the five commissioners who decide who gets paid. Trump can fire any of them. Proud Boys and Oath Keepers are not ruled out.
This is the most corrupt thing I’ve ever seen from an American president.
Where in the hell are my Republican colleagues?

How many days has it been since you dishonored your Congressional Supboena, Andy? A debate is not legally required, but honoring a Congressional Subpoena is. See the diff???
There is enough scandal in just this screenshot to create a permanent taint in the history books, but nowadays this is just Tuesday.
This doesn’t even mention the stock purchase and manipulation, the random war, the loss of standing China trip, etc.
You could start by walking down the hall. See why your boss keeps pardoning people convicted of money laundering, wire fraud, tax evasion, and securities fraud.
Time to update your talking points and it’s time to tell the truth to the American people.
Since 2019, California has no peers in the developed world: 40% growth.
CA dominates in research and development — our success is not by chance, it’s by design. 18% of the world’s R&D right here in the Golden State.
You won’t hear this on Fox News:
California just released a balanced budget that wipes out the deficit this year AND next — while protecting health care and safety nets.
Meanwhile, Trump ADDED $2.4 TRILLION to the federal deficit with his “Big Beautiful Betrayal.”
Republicans ruin budgets.
Democrats balance them.
Adulting matters.
Unbelievable. And hardly a peep about this on the right. This is “a move that could involve the government’s directly providing taxpayer funds or another public benefit to the president.”

American workers just took home their smallest share of the nation's wealth since 1947 — even as corporate profits soar.
Why? This chart has the answer.
Just going to leave today’s headline for the administration types who complain (lie) about Biden’s inflation, which decreased from its pandemic peak during his term to basically the Fed Reserve target.
Here’s the investigation we should have: Who decided to hit 15,000 targets and have so little to show for it except the tragic loss of 13 American servicemembers, higher gas prices for American families, and a depleted stockpile of critical munitions?

We had this conversation in a public hearing a week ago and you said it would take “years” to replenish some of these stockpiles. That’s not classified, it’s a quote from you. This war is coming at a serious cost and you and the president still haven’t explained to the American people what the goal is.
This has been the most frustrating year of my service in Congress, and it isn’t close.
Mike Johnson is the weakest Speaker in the history of the House.
He has turned the people’s branch into a rubber stamp.
In 2025, only 38 bills were signed into law, the lowest first-year total in decades. The House set a record this century for fewest votes cast in the first session of a Congress.
Johnson killed votes on tariffs crushing working families.
He blocked a vote on releasing the Epstein files.
He buried bipartisan bills under procedural tricks until his own members had to force votes through discharge petitions, setting another record.
Meanwhile Trump bombed Iran without a vote, dismantled the Department of Education without a vote, and imposed sweeping tariffs without a vote.
Johnson did nothing, more concerned with political survival than anything else.
The Founders fought a revolution so we wouldn’t be ruled by one man. Mike Johnson is surrendering that fight each day.

BREAKING: This ad, when tested, moves voters 4.1 points to Democrats to win the House
That’s HUGE MOVEMENT!
Voters are angry that Trump’s judges are coming for abortion rights. Again.
You know what to do. SHARE. THIS. EVERYWHERE.
Being from a state whose legislature thinks it knows better than every city council (hint: it doesn’t), I understand why Maine’s Governor vetoed a statewide ban on data centers. It would have set the precedent for usurping local control.
We now know the Iran war price tag is more like $50 billion - hundreds of dollars per household - and counting.
It's enough to cover all the health insurance premium credits that the Republicans got rid of for this year, and next. It could save rural hospitals, pay teachers, fix roads.
Don't let this White House insult your intelligence by blowing your money on war, then saying America can't afford nice things.
