Seafarer Roshan Raj returned to India by early morning flight today. He was stranded in Libya for past 9 months. MUI general secretary Capt Tushar Pradhan and his colleagues took lead to unite Roshan with his family. Thanks to DG Shipping, ITF, Indian Embassy - Tripoli and Libya.

Nowadays, seeking shore leave is like begging for alms. Several ports are still averse to shore leave. Even arranging transportation is difficult and exhorbitant. @IMOHQ
@Mohalidajatt@IMOHQ But there are still nagging issues like a terminal not providing basic transportation for crew from vessel to port security gate, which requires booking a taxi from specific taxi companies approved by terminal. Absurd! All in the name of COVID!
