Today is a good day to remind you that the genesis akintollsnake's @akintollgate perceived social capital came from the death of #EndSARS protesters at the toll gate controlled by his friend.
Today, he has gone back to the killers while still benefiting from their deaths.
Am I overthinking this? Because I am genuinely struggling to understand what is happening in Nigeria.
@inecnigeria has disregarded the Electoral Act by failing to publish the voters’ register online for public scrutiny, even after the statutory 90-day deadline has passed.
Even under Mahmood Yakubu, the register was published online, with a mechanism for complaints and objections.
Today, NOTHING!
And somehow, the country has moved on like nothing happened.
WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?
Apart from @ARISEtv and @fijnigeria, where is the Nigerian media?
Where are @YIAGA, @EUinNigeria@EU_SDGN , @NDI and the other civil society organisations?
@NigeriaNDCHQ .@ADCNig ARE YOU PEOPLE SLEEPING? Are you actually preparing for this election?
This is the voters’ register we are talking about. THE VERY FOUNDATION OF AN ELECTION!
INEC has effectively said, “To hell with public scrutiny. Do your worst.”
And our collective response is SILENCE.
I am genuinely pained.
We complain about electoral malpractice and compromised institutions, yet when it is time to demand accountability BEFORE an election, everybody suddenly goes quiet.
Must we wait until votes are cast and results are disputed before we start shouting?
Seriously, am I the only one who finds this silence deeply disturbing?
@officialABAT@CityBoyMedia@RelaxTIFN Tinubu is fixing Nigeria?

ENDSARS LEKKI TOLL GATE: NEVER FORGET OCTOBER 20, 2020
Today, October 20, 2026, marks the sixth anniversary of the Lekki Toll Gate shootings, a painful reminder of the price Nigerian youths paid in their demand for a better country.
On that fateful night, peaceful #EndSARS protesters were met with gunfire. Lives were lost, many were injured, and the nation was left with questions about justice, accountability, and the sanctity of human life.
We must never forget. We must never normalise injustice.
As we remember the victims, I reaffirm my belief that a New Nigeria is possible—a country where citizens are protected, not brutalised; where young people are heard, not silenced; and where government power is exercised with responsibility and respect for human rights.
Nigeria must become a nation where no citizen is punished for demanding good governance and a better future.
May the souls of the departed continue to rest in peace. May their sacrifice strengthen our resolve to build a Nigeria where this tragedy will never be repeated.
A New Nigeria is POssible. A Nigeria where every life matters. -PO
Buhari was said to be “reforming” Nigeria as well.
He led for 8 years of EXTREMELY disastrous leadership & when he was done, he walked away to enjoy his retirement.
That’s exactly what BAT will do & by the time he’s done, it will dawn on you, 12 or 16 years of your life wasted to APC’s purposeless leadership.
OCTOBER 2020 💔🇳🇬 I LOST MY FRIEND BOLU DURING #ENDSARS, WHILE WE WERE FIGHTING FOR A BETTER NIGERIA. YEARS HAVE PASSED, BUT THE PAIN IS STILL HERE. WE ARE STILL FIGHTING FOR A BETTER FUTURE, AND WE WON’T GIVE UP. BOLU, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. 🕊️😭 #EndBadGovernance
Jimoh Isiaka committed no crime, he was only standing in front of his house when he was shot dead by the heartless Nigerian police during the endsar protest.
For ever in our heat!

My Dad did a great job keeping my mom interested forever. He was an untamable relic of toxic masculinity. Made a lot of things tense, always complaining about dinner and every little thing. Women literally get bored if you aren't aggressive to everyone over nothing.
I was staying at freedom way back in 2020, I didn’t miss any of the protest except the last one cos I was sleeping and I could hear the sound of gunshots from my dream, I woke up thinking I was dreaming, only for me to leave the bedroom to the living room and ask my guys let’s go to the toll gate, they’re already sad in tears watching the news from instagram and the sound of the gun won’t just stop for hours.
My dispatch rider crawled out from inside the gutter from lekki tollgate to Lekki peninsula, he was madly wounded 😭
🚨 6 YEARS AGO TODAY! 🇳🇬
October 20, 2020 — During the historic #EndSARS protests, this is what Nigeria’s current president said.
Exactly six years later, his words are worth revisiting.
Watch. Listen. Remember. Let history speak for itself. 👀🇳🇬
#EndSARS#October20
Six years ago, young Nigerians gathered at Lekki Toll Gate to demand justice and an end to police brutality.
They came with hope. We remember. We will never forget.

I am not interested in having ‘intellectual debates’ with any APC supporter about what Tinubu has done or intends to do. I find it hilarious that anyone would ever ascribe the word ‘intellectual’ to anything concerning the APC. I think anyone who willingly engages them in such debates is a fool, and, worse still, a fool with far too much time to waste. There is no point debating, no point arguing. The next elections are not so far away. When that day comes, you will hear my intellectual arguments in the language of my vote, alongside the votes of millions of other Nigerians who are just as exasperated.
There’s a wave of people trying to convince the elderly ones that their votes won’t count, because tell me how my parents are both contemplating not voting that day, on grounds they feel it won’t matter.
After explaining how voters apathy favors the incumbent, and they were still adamant, I told them if they don’t show me the ink on their fingers on the 16th January, 2027, I’d convert their monthly allowance to the minimum wage.
My dad swore he’d vote, and my mum who was claiming she couldn’t remember where she kept her PVC, has miraculously found it.
Their generation finished this country, and they must help my generation repair it by force!!
