Oyo Empire vs. Benin Empire
In this conversation, we examine the territories and political influence of the Oyo and Benin empires, each kingdom’s authority, and how did their systems of governance, military power, and relationships with neighbouring communities shape their reach?
Lol, anyone with sense will understand my contribution is supporting what you tweted while also talking sense into you for supporting divisive narratives
In the South East region, Benin descendants like the Obi of Onitsha Ado n'Idu say they identify as Benin. The Eze of Oguta agrees he is a Benin man. The Eze of Enugu Ezike also agrees he is a Benin man. The South East region of Nigeria is not Igbo-Land.
Great Benin subdued the most powerful Igala state in the 16th century and established a military camp in Eko (Lagos) to launch westward expeditions toward Allada and Whydah. If you open the history book, you can’t even lie to yourself Benin was not an Empire.
@TINI_xx0 The king of igbokoda is called the Olugbo of Ugbo ,they are the ones who founded Ile ife . The Ugbos have light skin , have you seen their king ? He is also the richest King in Africa ,so you know that igbo blood of enterprise is strong in them. The igbos established Ondo and ife
Shebi abosi fo gbogbo yin ninu. Ti a ba so pe ife loni Ibadan , e o pa iro, ti e ba so pe
Owu have more territory in Ibadan than both Ife and ijebu combined, he’s right but exaggerated some of his points sha……again that’s in the past, awa Ibadan lani Ibadan ni sin.

For the sake of the coming generations, there are things we must make very clear-
** Oranmiyan was not an independent wanderer. He was sent by IFE to re-establish the Oodua order in those Northern axis. He went to Oyo with soldiers trained and fed by IFE. He also went with the spirituality of IFE. The Elempe welcomed him cuz he was a representative of the Olofin. (I won't say the name of the Olofin to make it hard for Benin clowns to fabricate history.)
**When Oranmiyan left to ascend the most coveted throne, he left almost 40% of his army with his son. That army was nicknamed Eyo Army by some people. Thus, Oyo's army was a part of IFE's army for a long while until the town began to grow. Even then, Ife's soldiers trained them.
**To prove the above, that Eyo Army were the ones Oranmiyan sent to Idanre to recover the Ade Ide carted away by his grand uncle, Olofin Aremitan. When they failed to conquer the hills of Idanre, he refused to send IFE's army to destroy his own blood. So, he ordered a retreat.
**No man born of a woman can debunk the above and revisionists will only push people to dig up what they are scared to let the world know.
Omoluabi Ile Oodua is Coming; Truth is coming! Stay tuned....
But why would a community allow such a young person to be their king? Don't get me wrong, he may be from a lineage of kings but the community could have still taken their time and maybe appoint a placeholder while the boy takes his time to grow mentally and emotionally outside
Koni dafun o. He said Alaafin sent him?. Ooni no be Benny lee's friend?
Abi e no dey see awikonko to tell him to stop. Ko ni dafun eni to ba ni ki o stop cos wa ba wa nibe
The elders of Oyo & the Alaafin will pretend not to see this. This lunatic must be Baruba but he bears a Yoruba name. When the response comes, his kinsmen will now say- 'Ure doing supremacy & tribalism.'.
Konidafun whoever tells me such again!!!
These mentally deranged Oyo supremacists have names and parents but some people want us to believe they are uncontrollable. Yet, Alaafin went to the fundraising event of one of their propagandists? We have him on video o.
What is coming as response WILL be huge, ruthless, brutal & irreversibly damaging.

How some people believed the phantom packaged Opa Oranmiyan history remain skeptical to logic. This is just a granite mixed with cement erected monument, and some people believed such exist truly.
Oranyan will be laughing at some people who go by this myth.
