We will see donor fatigue happening in the next 1-3 years. Wealthy people are wealthy because they don't light their money on fire and when they do get burned they don't make the same mistake twice.

One big donation to get a player? Sure.

Year after year cutting a multi-million dollar check for 18 year olds that may or may not pan out? Unlikely

Even if you have exorbitant wealth, I think most people get annoyed when an expectation is placed upon them that others have access to your money

great bit on this episode about "adventures with dad" when you would do stuff as a kid with your dad that inevitably ended with, "don't tell your mother about this."

I was 8 years old and my dad took me to a Giants game late in the season. After the game we are tailgating and I saw one of his buddies fall into a small fire pit. I know now it was because he was drunk but when I asked my dad why he fell, he said he drank too many sodas.

Then he told me not to tell my mom about the man in the fire. I was afraid to drink soda for weeks. @Return_Of_RB @Jerrythekid21

This memorial not only stands as a testament to the bravery of our Marines at Iwo Jima, but it also served as a beacon for all Marines that came after them.

Beyond that, it’s a monument that embodies the American spirit and demonstrates why there was no way, on God’s green earth, that we would ever lose World War II

This is absolutely abhorrent and we need to prosecute this low life to the fullest extent of the law.

A 27-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after police said they found him using a sledgehammer to smash an Iwo Jima statue in Quantico, Virginia.

Officers responded to Richmond Highway and Fuller Road at about 10:13 p.m. to investigate a report of property destruction. When they arrived, they found a man, later identified as Miguel Alonso Maldonado Soriano, "actively damaging" the statue, according to Prince William County police.
