This woman was recording a vocal performance when her cat interrupted, stepped in front of the camera, and started singing in the exact same tone like, 'Don't forget who's the real star here.'
“Traveling in a fried-out Kombi…”
“Where women glow and men plunder…”
“Can’t you hear, can’t you hear the thunder?” 🎶
1983. One song, a flute riff everyone recognizes, and the whole world was singing about Vegemite sandwiches. 🥪 😁

@HannahIamthest1 Yep Moelfre. Beautiful hill for paragliding. I spent an afternoon up there flying with our local daredevil in my 300 quid deathtrap glider in 2993. I'm in Bavaria now. Tons of 3 Reich history!

Hoping this one finds his way back safe. 🐾 Spread the word and let’s get him home.

Look at what a child is fed at school now, against what their grandparents got.
The post-war school dinner was plain but real. Meat, potatoes, vegetables, a milk pudding, full-fat milk.
Every child got a third of a pint of whole milk, by law, for the fat and the calcium.
It was no banquet, but it was cooked on site, from ingredients, by people in a kitchen.
Then the milk was taken away, and the kitchens were closed to save a few pennies.
In came the outsourced tray. Reheated, beige, and engineered down to a budget.
Turkey shapes, pizza, chips, a sugary pudding, a carton of squash.
The cheapest possible processed carbohydrate, served to growing children as a meal.
Then we puzzle over the rise in childhood obesity and the slump in concentration after lunch.
A country recovering from war fed its children real food. Their richer grandchildren get the reheated tray.
