was there trust and universal acceptance, for gold, from day 1?

if “trust” is the intrinsic value - why can’t bitcoin be built on the same? sure it will take time but why not?

also, tell when it will go to 0 - 1000 years from today? 1 year? since you’ve naively claimed it will go to 0 also tell the year. People been saying it for last 17 years 🤣

@DelcinMaria @oomahq It’s about being at edge and finding new ways to monetize and maintain healthy PNL. Not everyone can do. Some miner will and stay profitable.

It’s the same for every business. If there’s a new frontier where profits are high, more people come and cut the profits but that doesn’t mean all the companies will remain unprofitable once the new ones come.

Some mining companies are continuously innovating using district heating, efficient use of hot water, different unique ways to source energy, that helps them to mine at relatively cheaper rate and with positive PNL. These are not uniformly distributed across globe. These will remain profitable. Assuming a new miner will come and mine at the same efficiency is not true.
