We’re so grateful to everyone who took part. Taking on a challenge like this requires time, dedication, and months of commitment, and we can’t thank you enough for choosing to represent PKD Charity.
We also want to give a special mention to three of our runners, Brendan, Jack, and Zahara who sadly had to withdraw from their events due to last-minute injuries after months of training. We’re wishing you all a smooth and speedy recovery, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Team PKD when you’re ready 💜
If you have been inspired to take part in an event, why not check out our website and see how you can be involved. https://t.co/V4MPPdei3c
In some interviews, elderly women recalled that in the 1940s the nuns in the “stew house” used to feed women, especially those pregnant. They could come and receive free food. Many mothers neglected their own needs, often going without food to make sure their children were fed.
Clergy process into St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, Co #Donegal, to concelebrant the Installation Mass for the new Bishop of @RaphoeDiocese, Bishop Niall Coll. @theway_ie#AdMultosAnnos
This government have imported tens of thousands of people, allowed thousands of unvetted men, without passports enter Ireland. Take years to process IPAS applications, expect people to self deport. Deport only 318 people in 12 months.
Don’t collect data on the nationality’s of those committing crime in Ireland, including sexual crimes.
Fail to protect the most vulnerable in our society, particularly children in state care (Tusla).
The more that speak up, the quicker we can stop this madness!!
Thanks @KarlMartinIrl for the footage
Goodness me, this is downright heartless.
Nigerian bishop goes to the European Parliament to speak about the persecution of Christians in his country and is taunted by pro-abortion campaigners.
Not only do those involved support the deliberate killing of babies in the womb, they clearly couldn’t care less about the horrific violence being perpetrated upon innocent people in Nigeria.
220 million Christians are persecuted for their faith. ALL media outlets in Dublin were invited to the launch of a report in this horrific human rights abuse. Only @griptmedia could be bothered. The others’ claim to care about human rights ring hollow.
🚨 SAVE THE NIGERIAN CHRISTIANS! 🚨
For years, countless of us have fought to save Nigeria’s Christians.
Their begging, their pleading, their endless cries for help - all met with silence as jihadis carried out a horrific mass slaughter of innocent believers.
For decades, their blood has cried out from the ground while the world looked away.
Why did it take so long for our governments, our churches, and our so-called human-rights champions to care about Christian lives?
How many villages were burned? How many children orphaned? How many pastors murdered before anyone would listen?
Today, at last, there is a glimmer of hope - fragile but real - for those who have lost everything.
To the pastors and priests still standing in Nigeria, still pleading for the world to hear you: you are the embodiment of faith, courage, and love in its purest form.
I remember seven years ago, in the White House, when President Trump vowed to address this “problem.”
Since then, so many more have died - entire Christian villages wiped out, entire generations erased — while the world remained silent.
We don’t need more statements. We need action.
We must finally confront the Islamic problem ravaging innocent lives across the globe - from Nigeria to the Middle East, from Europe to the West.
How can we not learn from the rivers of Christian blood spilled in Nigeria?
How can we witness that horror, then open our own doors to the same threat - one that endangers Christians and all non-believers here in America?
If we want to save the Christians of America from the same fate, we must close the door to Islam’s political expansion and confront the threat we’ve already imported.
The time for silence and denial is over.
My heart aches for what Nigerians have to endure each day. You are not forgotten.
May God protect you, comfort you, and bring justice for every Christian life taken.
Islamist militants are killing women and children and terrorizing civilians. It is so heartbreaking to see loud voices on social media stay silent.
Those who have been lecturing us on “genocide” for the past two years are suddenly out of words.
In today's Gospel, Jesus laments over Jerusalem, longing to gather its people as a mother hen gathers her chicks. His sorrow reveals God’s tender love—a love rejected yet unceasing, still calling each heart to return and find peace.
