I don’t know whether this is fake or not, but I have heard the sentiments shared enough times by certain people within government to elicit my reaction.

The drafters of our constitution never intended for us to trust the government. Our entire constitution is predicated on the notion that the government is evil, to be restrained and minimized as much as possible.

In the same vein, the president is the servant of the people. He is not an elected king no matter how many bombs he can drop or abductions he can commission. The president serves within the provisions of the constitution. I therefore hope that nothing will ever be commissioned under his watch by his men, that is unconstitutional.
