Hi, everyone! I’m Betsy and I’m so excited to be Captain Springfield. I know I’m not a cat but I promise to do my best. I look forward to highlighting all the things I love about my hometown and meeting some of you along the way! Cheers to 417-land. There’s no place like home 💞
I had a great time with the crew at Cider Days on Walnut. Go check it out tomorrow! Support local artists, get some apple cider, and see cool performances. One of my favorite SGF events!
Some work days are more fun than others. Today I got to be on-site at @cityutilities to raise money for @UWOzarks while throwing eggs at people from six stories high. A fun way to support a great cause over a lunch break and a not so fun way to learn I don’t love heights 👀
We had a great night at Casablanca listening to our dad talk about the instrumental role CASA played in the life of my nephew. Not a day goes by where I don’t feel grateful for their work. Want to support our children in foster care? Find out more!

Come out and join me for the Springfield Central Labor Council’s Labor Day Parade! Free candy, live music, beautiful weather and celebrating the hard-working people who keep Springfield running - what more do you need? See you all there!

Okay bye thanks again and stop by downtown and say hi to Googey and eat Mama G's or Greek Belly and see a play at the Springfield Contemporary Theater or High Tide or the Landers or a movie at the Moxie and then go discuss it while getting a snack at the Pocket Park -❤️🐾❤️🐾
High Tide Theatrical's "Next To Normal" opens to a sold-out crowd tonight. @JKessingerSGF writes that the Pulitzer Prize-winning rock opera tackles heavy subjects like bipolar disorder, so the director and cast try to keep rehearsals light.

Queen City Rock Camp, and High Tide Theatrical. Thank you to all of Googey's supporters, and we're excited to pass the cape (figuratively, this thing is Goog-sized) to our next captain! You have a few hours left to vote!

Thank you for a wonderful year and for the people of Springfield for entrusting me with watching the streets for the past year. We had a great year and were happy to get to highlight and raise money for some of Googey's favorite organizations--@OzarksLiteracy, @wowhiskers (1/2)
Oh "the likes are hidden on here now", yeah that's great until you have to turn over your account to someone else in a day and you're up half the night unliking 20,000 thirst traps from beautiful cats.
