I like the idea of a phone call between Grealish, Alli and Maddison has happened and Grealish has been like "erm yeah boys, y'know Ibiza yea? Is it alright if I bring my mate from work?"
Mingueza, Wilson, Pacy Winger, 2 late and probably expensive loans.
That's what I reckon we are dealing with this summer. #avfc
Maybe an unpopular sale that shakes things up a little bit thrown in there somewhere.
The optimism around finding a buyer for some of our players is mad, especially Bailey. We couldn't shift him after an average season, hes regressed since then, there's hardly gonna be a queue for him.
These were maybe underappreciated at the start of the season, but most of them have had their praises sung very loudly most of the campaign.
From Villa, I think I'd be throwing Matty Cash and Pau Torres in here, cant really speak for other teams but Im sure theres plenty.
@avfc_stef He improved alot physically this season, at least on the eye.
Think if he hadnt moved forward in that regard they might have had a decision to make.
@DaleAC93 Its likely dictated by who we can move on.
Couldnt get any money for anyone last summer so wound up selling Ramsey.
If people are only coming for Rogers and Emi, we might be left with no choice.
@lukefrxst Will bailey leave though?
We need to get the players we dont want shifted properly and not just loaned.
Easier said than done, I appreciate.
Theres nothing especially new here and the article has whiff of covering all bases... which suggests to me that everything is up in the air.
We need to really trim the fat this summer though. Squad is still bloated with some players who simply won't attract alot of interest.
New: Aston Villa transfer dealsheet - incomings and outgoings:
Intent on keeping Rogers, wanting Martinez to stay, adhering to a finance plan, key positions to recruit (a pacey winger), but are also dependent on who leaves.

@BandanaSavos@BruceRioch4 Many of his more frustrating moments were due to him taking on alot of the attacking responsibility and trying to conjure something out of nothing, the whole team was disjointed and they all suffered.
@ThatAntffs@BandanaSavos@northvillan Agree. Dont agree with people saying he was pants for us; but on the otherside of it, the PSG game showed us the level he is capable of but seldom reaches.
@BandanaSavos@northvillan My memory is that he didnt work hard enough to defensively to be the left sided player in our system, but played pretty well as a 9.
Barca fans seem to be echoing the sentiments about him on the left.
Dont rate Gordon especially highly but its a hell of an opportunity for him, hope he takes it with both hands and brings that form into the national team and Matty Cash marks him out the game in the CL next season.
