I know how small a joilycon is, the connector on the Switch2 will still break easily if left unchecked, or unless Nintendo has a trick somewhere and they haven't us yet

Still, it's a bit too exposed for a connector that's really important. Either the joycons 2 have some sort of failsafe/security mechanism or this will be The Headache of the Switch2

@pa1ar @Pirat_Nation The difference is the USB-C is small and cased around, which makes it harder to break (although it still happens from time to time)

The Switch2 has a huge amount of space around the connector, making really easy for someting to bump into the connector and break it
