The Forties Pipeline System (FPS)
This is the pipeline system that carries most of the oil from the North Sea to the UK.
It collects the oil from 85 different North Sea oilfields, and flows around 550,000 barrels of oil per day back to the UK mainland. For context, in total the North Sea has around 400 offshore platforms between the UK and Norway, producing and exporting both oil and gas.
FPS is a British oil pipeline system.
Exploration drilling for North Sea oil is currently banned on the UK Continental Shelf. It has been since the current government came to power.
As a result of the drilling ban, the Forties Pipeline System is currently uninvestable according to its owner INEOS. They haven’t invested in its upkeep for 2 years.
INEOS have said the pipeline will close by 2035, but without investment maybe as early as 2030, which is now just 3.5 years away.
550,000 barrels / day is equivalent to 38.96 GW of primary energy.
This is 10x more energy than the UK’s new Hinkley Point C nuclear power project, which is projected to cost £48 billion for 3.2GW of electrical power.
Electrical energy is joule for joule more valuable than chemical energy, but the comparison of scale is real.
38.9 GW is more energy than the entire National Grid carries. The largest energy system in the UK is not the grid it is this underwater pipeline system.
With drilling banned, and the North Sea entering a period of forced closure, the Forties Pipeline System is going to close in the not too distant future.
Once the pipeline is no longer economical, the entire Central North Sea oil production will collapse with it. This isn’t something that closes down gracefully, the entire Central North Sea basin reaches market through a single pipe.
BP recently announced they are selling up their remaining assets and getting out, Exxon, Chevron, etc are all already long gone. Nobody wants their brand near this collapse.
The tax rate is 78%, the government wants this national infrastructure to shut down. It will.
The German Chancellor recently called their nuclear fleet closure a “Strategic Blunder”, interesting choice of words. But I think it was obviously a blunder to anyone outside their propaganda bubble.
Likewise the UK’s North Sea.
The German nuclear fleet averaged 10.3 GW of primary energy output over its operational life, which is around 1/4 the primary energy of the Forties Pipeline System.
The UK has a few other pipeline systems but this one is by far the largest and the most critical. Now this infrastructure, isn’t supposed to last forever. But when it goes you should have a plan.
In the UK nobody talks about this. It’s taboo.
A lot of people think “yeah but they won’t let that happen”… well it happened in Germany, and it happened in Japan.
A lot of people want it to happen, and a lot of those people are in politics.
So what replaces this? Nothing?
Is the UK just going to go silently into the night?
The Ukrainian Rent Boy trial started this morning in court 2 of the Old Bailey on the Government website it says any breach of reporting restrictions is punishable by sanctions up to and including imprisonment.
A full MSM ban ?
Thank goodness we have a free press in the UK !
Guess who is in court on Monday?
Yes, the 3 Ukranian rent boys supsected of arson at Keir Stamers houses.
George Galloway asks here why news channels are not reporting on it?🤔
Spain Is Finished!
Thousands of fighting age African Invaders are marching MILES across the border like a conquering army.
This isn’t ‘migration’. It’s the great replacement live on @X
If you’re a follower from outside Ireland, please share this: show Britain, Europe, the world that Ireland is rising 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
We are fighting back against fuel taxes and “climate” taxes on our fuel prices ☘️
It would bring a tear to a glass eye.
God bless Ireland! 🇮🇪

Europe is facing energy lockdown’s, does the deliberate destruction of the Gasprom Nord Stream pipeline in Sept.’22 make sense now ?
Does the deliberate closure of UK North Sea oil and gas fields and refining capacity in the name of the Net Zero scam make sense now? All planned.
⚠️ Since the media are cherry picking this, let me explain what control actually looks like.
The land use framework was published yesterday. There was no parliamentary vote on it, yet you will be forced to accept it.
The framework aligns closely with the same priorities around land, climate and biodiversity seen in Agenda 2030 SDG 15 even if it doesn’t explicitly reference it. What it means in practice is that the government won’t need to own the land to increasingly decide how it’s used.
This isn’t about taking land. It’s about redefining how it’s used. And that’s far more powerful.
▪️moves land from ownership to managed permission.
You may still own it, but what you can actually do with your land, and profit from, will increasingly be controlled by centrally defined priorities set by the government. That includes food, housing, nature, carbon and infrastructure. It means your land sits within that system.
▪️A national map. A single, government led spatial view of England, layering farming, housing, energy, biodiversity and climate targets into one system. Once that exists, planning decisions, subsidies and restrictions will increasingly be guided by it. I suspect so will tax.
▪️land becomes digital.
Fully mapped, measured, and classified via data, including soils, flood risk, biodiversity value and land use. Once land is digitised like that, it becomes manageable at a National scale, regardless of what you want to do with your own bit.
▪️ownership becomes more transparent Who owns what, where, and how much, will be increasingly mapped and accessible. Giving the state the ability to apply pressure, incentives or restrictions with greater precision. Again, I suspect extra taxes.
▪️At the same time, large landowners and farmers are being pulled into alignment. They will be expected to publish land use plans, report emissions and demonstrate how they contribute to national goals, often linked to funding and support schemes. If they don’t do as they are told by government, funding may not be given. So, there is no confiscation or ‘force’, just a coordinated compliance with a wider system. Funding will increasingly be directed toward “approved” uses, with growing pressure on uses that don’t align, the behavioural nudge type approach.
All of this is tied to climate targets, biodiversity commitments, and wider international priorities the public never directly voted on.
Complete control and government overreach looks just like this ⚠️
Nearly three million of us already gave a consultation response to Digital IDs.
We said 'NO'.
Now they're trying again. And so must we.
Link to the consultation below, and how to respond. You know what to do!
An unarmed Iranian ship was invited to take part in an Indian naval exercise alongside the United States.
Its sailors were welcomed on land and paraded before the president as a gesture of cooperation.
Then, at the last moment, the United States abruptly withdrew from the exercise, only to turn around and torpedo the very ship it had just stood beside.
What followed was even more grotesque.
After attacking an unarmed vessel, the US refused to rescue the sailors it had thrown into the sea, abandoning them to drown.
The grim work of recovering bodies was left to the Sri Lankan Navy.
This wasn’t warfare,it was treachery of the most disgraceful kind: an ambush carried out under the pretense of diplomacy, followed by a cold refusal to show even the most basic human decency to the dying.
It would represent a collapse of every norm that supposedly governs civilized conduct at sea.
And yet, instead of outrage, much of the American media response has been indifference or rationalization.
The bombing of a girls’ school is brushed aside; talk of carpet-bombing Tehran is floated as if it were just another policy option.
When atrocities are normalized and cruelty is laundered into “strategy,” the line between reporting and complicity begins to disappear.
Orders have been issued to evacuate this area in Beirut, home to nearly one million people. Israeli officials say it will become like Khan Younis—completely destroyed
We warned you that Gaza is the testing ground for a lawless new world order.
