We’ve learned that Matt Younkin had to make an emergency landing this afternoon in St. Joseph, Missouri after one of his landing gear failed to extend on the Twin Beech. He was able to land the plane safely and no one was injured.

DBFD Engine 4 was involved in a traffic crash that caused it to overturn on impact. The firefighters were able to safely exit the fire apparatus and render aid to the driver of the other vehicle who tragically did not survive the crash. Traffic crash investigation is ongoing.
