Before we release our own personal severe weather outlook later this afternoon, we figured we’d share the latest update from the SPC. An enhanced risk (level 3 of 5) is once again in place for much of southern Michigan on Wednesday. A hatched risk of severe is likely as well, shown in the percentage probability map (image 2). As morning showers and overall lower instability are limiting factors, but the main hazards to note would be significant damaging winds, and a couple of tornadoes, some strong.
We are still over 48 hours out, so the time to prepare is now. Make sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings, including turning on notifications for our streams on YouTube or Twitch, purchasing a weather radio (Midland WR-120), downloading apps (Emergency by Red Cross or the FEMA app), and making sure your WEA alerts are toggled on. Sirens should be your last mode of receiving a warning, especially considering they’re only meant to be heard outdoors and not indoors. If you get caught out in the storm, PLEASE DO NOT park under an overpass. Overpasses act as a funnel, channeling higher winds underneath the bridge, increasing the likelihood of getting injured or worse from flying debris. Get off at the nearest exit, and find a business with a substantial shelter if possible. We will also be reposting our guidlines to finding yourself on a county based map later today, or tomorrow, to better help yourself & your loved ones when we’re tracking each storm live on stream and are unable to answer questions.
Stay safe, we got you covered here at MSC ❤️

The seven angels killed on a @WCKitchen mission in Gaza on Monday were the best of humanity.
The Israeli government needs to open more land routes for food and medicine today. It needs to stop killing civilians and aid workers today. It needs to start the long journey to peace today.
You cannot save the hostages by bombing every building in Gaza. You cannot win this war by starving an entire population. https://t.co/atgx5cvioa
