@Yodoswaginz@CultureCrave@TheWrap after seeing MOTU, they could 100% pull off a film in this style with a 200 mil budget while keeping it the same visually or similar
@Tchoutchoubrrbr@CultureCrave@TheWrap it’s the film that got me into transformers fully to begin with, i yearn for a film with TFO’s writing with bumblebee’s visuals
@FillerComplete precisely, nobody showed up because of it being animated and general audiences brushing it off as more summer kids slop, along with the abysmal marketing campaign. a live action equivalent would break the bank because general audiences are used to these versions of the characters
@AstroWolvez@CultureCrave@TheWrap we just need to not let this one flop if they do it. i love TFO, its the movie that got me fully into transformers to begin with
@Thexpert07 would make more sense than viewmaster, the netflix series is coming out this year or the next, by the time thomas has become relevant again it will be the perfect time to announce and begin filming the movie. my guess is probably late next year or early 2028
@E2forLife2lkpr masters of the universe had a $200 million budget and the film only spent like the first 25 minutes of the film on earth before completely focusing on the world of he-man. they did an amazing job, so i’ve got faith they can do the same with thomas and strike a good middle ground.
@mleepproduction@starlightfan02 i genuinley think so, i’ve watched masters of the universe 3 times now, and ive never given any piece of media from the franchise a watch. seeing the way that movie fully embraced its source materials roots so tastefully, i think thomas is in good hands
@thesoapeater2@RealCaledonian this movie is going to be amazing because amazon does not care about the amount of money they have to pour into the first entry of a franchise because the toy and merchandise sales, along with hooking audiences for more installments will make up for whatever box office losses ❤️🩹
@HarveyRivers17 at this point, i’ll take a rushed classic thomas that can be built on and improved after being fully released over the AEG stuff. AEG completely overtook every toyline to a ridiculous extent, and it’s honestly nice having a wide selection of cheap clsssic characters to collect
@TheLilWestern shed 17 caused me to have a nightmarishly realistic dream when i was 10 where i was kidnapped by sodor research in some grimy old building, and experimented on for bio fusion until being chased through the building by thomas himself. had a few bc of the show itself though 😭
@TheBoysTV release it in regular theaters as well, having it in just 4dx is dumb and restricts alot of people who don’t have 4dx in their state from experiencing something that’s been building for 7 years
