@savvyhistory I’ve not had dental insurance for 5 years. I calculated that the only thing it really covered was cleaning and xrays and the premiums ended up costing what the cash cost was. I go every 18 months instead of twice a year.

After 5 years of tracking every penny spent, I’ve decided to no longer do this. At this point we spend what we spend. I will continue to track monthly net worth which I think is a better measurement anyway. Anyone else not tracking every expense?

Since 2015 I've had my hair cut twice and it was $20 each time. Haven't had my hair cut since Sept. 2017 and couldn't take it anymore so watched a YouTube video and did it myself. 5 minutes & free.

@TheFrugalOnion I watched a makeup tutorial once but it was just so overwhelming and way too much work. I just have no desire to buy all the supplies and keep up with it all. Plus I feel my face would breakout with so much stuff on it.

Any other women who are clueless about makeup? I have a very basic eyeliner and mascara routine but when it comes to primer, base, bronzer, blush, concealer, highlighter, blending - I’m lost.
