@AlphaAreus1 I hate when yall say shit like "let people enjoy things" as if you're being held captive and also just because you personally enjoyed it doesn't stop people from criticizing it
@DoomerSkelly13 The whole reason the hare was arrogant to begin with was because of it's speed advantage and a character acting arrogant doesn't debunk powerscaling, when you make a match up there's more things to it than just raw stats there's a reason terms like battle iq exist
@FairyAngelbel@AccelRiderX The hare was arrogant because of it's speed and just because hare was already established to be faster than the tortoise doesn't make it any less of a powerscaling narrative because saying "a character beats b character in certain characteristics"is powerscaling
@FairyAngelbel@AccelRiderX I wouldn't use vswiki as a reliable source but even if you use it it still fits in this case the reader would be using powerscaling to determine the hares power (in this case speed) by comparing it to the tortoise
@FairyAngelbel@AccelRiderX The hare being acknowledged as the faster one does count as powerscaling and just because a weaker character wins against a stronger one doesn't debunk powerscaling, when scaling stats aren't the only thing that matters although i don't blame you for thinking that due to the fans
@bubbuou28920@notstonkgod Powerscaling doesn't just include raw power, powerscaling includes stuff like hac iq experience disadvantage and ect what you described counts as powerscaling
@sisteract4encom Powerscaling is just analyzing or knowing the capabilities of an established character or object (usually in fights) that's about it there's also fight match ups that count as a part of powerscaling but it isn't the entirety of it
@VenandrVT@faszon1@PnishdMythMason@roryofffilm Powerscaling doesn't just come from feats it also comes from narrative for example if a character is set up to be the strongest in a verse in terms of power then he upscales from everyone in the verse interns of power you can do it without feats
@FloopyNoopy@electric4cdc@TheNaverZ@kizu_skip Powerlevels were never flawed it people who think that's why it's written that way are genuine larpers akira toriyama never intended for powerlevels to be useless he made power levels so that the strengths of the character would be easy to follow
