He didn't target any person, he answered a question about his opinion on longer races.

@TysonWinter Man, I flew from Houston back to CLT in early June (i lived in LKN for 18 yrs), and spent the whole time just driving around and freaking mourning. Went to all the places that reminded me of what a lifetime of loving Nascar used to mean to me before 5/21/26.

Endless mourning.

@iksdrah @2SDFPSG @MelPopsoffi This is true, but most cars have the transmission cooler built into the radiator or right in front of it. In heavier vehicles or trucks, this is not enough to cool the fluid due to waste heat inefficiencies. So, they need an auxiliary remote cooler to supplement it.

When you look at it from that lense, it makes sense. But that is the only logical explanation.

They always reply, "well, the part wasn't supposed to fail".

@2SDFPSG @tilinfinity2824 @MelPopsoffi No, power steering fluid is never red. It is clear-yellowish or green. However, many power steering systems use automatic transmission fluid, and most auto trans fluids are red.

In this case, the transmission cooler was damaged - hence red fluid. Rolls p/s fluid is green.

@tilinfinity2824 @2SDFPSG @MelPopsoffi No, that is transmission fluid. Rolls Royce uses CHF11S for power steering, just like newer BMW's do (RR is owned by BMW).

CHF11S is has a green tint to it, its not red.

Most p/s fluids look clear or yellowish. But, many p/s systems use trans fluid (why you have seen red)

@2SDFPSG @MelPopsoffi The transmission oil cooler is behind those air vents in the bumper, to allow fresh air to blow across of it. That is transmission oil. The car needs extra transmission cooling because the car is so heavy.

The vents allow fresh cool air to blow across the transmission oil cooler. They need this because the car is very heavy. 6000 lbs (2700+kg). It is a bad location to put the part.
