@Helen_Barnard There’s a house near me being marketed as a “Mansion” with offers over £700k yet the council tax band is lower than every other much smaller and non mansion like new build houses on the street. It’s definitely crazy.

Universal Credit already doesn't cover essential living costs, like food and bills. And it's one of the main reasons why people need to turn to food banks.

While the Scottish Govt (rightly) mitigate the impact of the LHA freeze in Scotland, ending the freeze across the UK will free up funding to be invested in other anti-poverty measures.
