🚨 BREAKING: 51,700 emergency food parcels were provided for families with children in Wales in 2025.
Families with kids are among the hardest hit — they received 59% of all parcels.
It doesn't have to be this way. Our social security system must protect families from hunger.
It’s not right that people are having to turn to food banks just to survive.
Lifting the two-child limit will bring relief to families next April.
But first, people and food banks in Wales have to get through a tough winter.
🚨 JUST IN: thousands of people will need to turn to a food bank in Wales for the very first time this winter.
The rising costs of essentials, like food, rent and bills, is pushing people to the brink.
Last winter alone, our community of food banks in Wales provided over 47,000 emergency food parcels.
That’s 21% more than 5 years ago.
And alarmingly, over 17,000 of these went to children.
WE WON 💥 The two-child benefit limit is GONE! This will pull 470,000 children out of severe hardship by 2027.
This is a massive victory for families, campaigners, and every one of you that played your part urging the Chancellor to act.
