@MartinPSpencer Another Fortran user here…. Back in 1978 on the Manchester Uni mainframe Fortran was all the rage…. Including the tty used to produce the paper tape to get your programs run as a student. Punch cards if you weren't a computer student lol
Just watched the Spanish GP..... about as exciting as uniting a knot in a piece of string. Max Wingestappen and Christian Moaner on form as usual. Glad We didn't book a camping spot at the British GP after all.
OK, so I get asked this a lot... What's in your toolbox when travelling. So here in best internet style is my answer... and no it's not a you-hoo-tubey presentation! (I don't do YT!) https://t.co/eKsWUx1km9
@CaravanVlogger I wish we had truck washes like the do in the USA... drive in and a team go to work with jet wash lances, low pressure, using de-ionised water and acid free detergent. They even use leaf bower type units to blow dry the outfit.
@TinTent@BaileyofBristol The drag is reduced by being close coupled-similar to artics... and I have noticed that overtaking vehicles have little or no affect when passing. The height is 2.8m
@CaravanLarry I think the first caravan storage facility to offer concrete storage pads with steel traffic boards at the rear and 2 manually retractable bollards at the front either side of the "A" frame will become the game changer for the storage industry.
When I received the news of having cancer, I thought that was it and did not know what to do with the blog. However so many lovely people posted and messaged that I thought “f” it.. the blog goes on so do I.
So I've cancelled the auto renewal of my club membership after 18 years. There's nowhere safe to keep a van round here so I'm out. I'm undecided about @CaravanLarry as he might be dead too. End of an era.
