every novel should include an appendix with sketches of all the flora and fauna mentioned in the book so that you can flip to the back and go, “oh, that’s a carnelian… that’s what a rhododendron looks like… that’s dogwood and hibiscus”
We had a fantastically relaxing time at our Art and Audiobooks Academy this semester! We listened to The Tiger Rising and half of The Unlucky Lottery Winners of Classroom 13 while we drew and colored. What a way to start our Fridays - we didn’t want it to end! 🎨🎧📖❤️
The weather outside is frightful, but library lunch is delightful 🥰 Between 4th and 5th grade we’ve been averaging about 60 students DAILY choosing to read quietly while eating lunch in the library. 😍😍
