Major changes are on the way for South Australian schools with a new version of the national curriculum to be rolled out next year. It includes many of the same old subjects but they will be taught differently to better prepare kids for daily life. @AndreaLNicolas#saparli#7NEWS
Today we’ve released the first stage of the new Australian Curriculum for our public schools.
The first subjects are English, maths, languages and arts.
It’s designed to make sure we teach kids the important literacy and numeracy skills they need.
But it’s also about making sure students develop skills like resilience - more important than ever.
Great to also announce $12m in funding for Patch and @Carclew at Kilkenny PS where Carclew is currently teaching ceramics.
The students are loving it!
