I don’t usually respond to trolls but this was sufficiently insulting & inaccurate to capture my interest

I’ve been a successful player for the better part of two decades. Cash, tournaments, NL, PLO, Mix, you name it. When I first started out, anyone would’ve categorized me as a feel player. I’ve always done best when locked into the energies & emotions of my opponents and my strengths lie in finding creative ways to maximize value in specific moments vs specific opponents

Around 2019, I started to find I had more difficulty playing this style vs the toughest most balanced opponents, especially in high stakes PLO. At that time, I started putting in a ton of work with Monkersolver, and found that sharpening my baselines didn’t make me ignore or lose sight of that intuition, but made me a tougher more complete player

I use StudFlopDraw, Odds Oracle, Monkersolver & PioSolver in the course. The idea is to teach a strong theoretical baseline in the more classroom style videos, and then explain the ways and reasons I deviate from this vs various player’s & populations

Poker is a dynamic game and study ≠ execution. The best players are well studied enough that the basics become intuitive, but also self aware and in flow state to the point where deviating feels organic rather than calculated

It’s a complicated game and I’m not goin to get every spot perfectly right, or be able to fully articulate exactly how I process these deviations in the moment.

But I spent months of time building this course, I’m damn proud of the final result. It’s an authentic look at the way I approach the game, and the idea that any of what I’m saying is BS couldn’t be further from the truth

In December, an 85-year-old North Carolina widow called a tree company begging for firewood, she said she was cold and couldn't heat her home.

The owner delivered it free and then fixed her roof, her heat, her car, raised $20,000 for her Christmas... and STILL maintains her property free, checking on her every week.

Her name is Nana Abernathy. She had just lost her husband and was struggling to survive on her own when she made that call last December.

Paul Brittain, the owner, showed up with the firewood himself. No charge.

But while he was there, he noticed things: a leaking roof, a broken heating unit, a car that needed tires.

So he came back, this time with his whole crew.

They fixed the roof.
Replaced the heat.
Put new tires on her car.

All for free.

Then, for Christmas, Paul raised $20,000 for her.

To this day, he maintains her property at no charge and checks on her every single week, just to make sure she's okay.

He has never charged her a dime.
