@THalamandaris@uclaanderson 4/ It’s about noticing the moments that will one day feel impossible to recreate. It’s about realizing that today (this messy and busy chapter of our life) might be the chapter you’ll miss someday.
The good ol’ days aren’t behind us but just might hiding in plain sight.
@THalamandaris@uclaanderson 3/ We talk about the “good ol’ days” like they’re a fixed point in the past. But the truth is more uncomfortable: You almost never know you’re living them until they’re gone.
And maybe that’s the real reminder.
#Carpediem isn’t about urgency or hustle. It’s about awareness.
#Founders, find a market that is fundamentally misunderstood by most of the industry and then just roll full steam ahead.
Don't wait for permission or consensus. Build, build, build... while everyone else is still debating whether the opportunity is even real or not
One of the hardest truths and greatest ironies is realizing too late that I was already standing in the middle of the 'good ol’ days'… and not realizing I was there until looking back.
Find some time in living and loving #today especially with those on that journey with you.
1 / Our church spoke on #vocation / #work in the context of our #faith / #mission." Dr. Ken Chang shared a quote from Frederick Buechner that I believe has better shaped and articulated the way we should be thinking about work, calling, and ultimately purpose:
@X@exit_hours 5/ Your #startup’s trajectory is shaped by the rooms you put yourself in.
If you’re always the #smartest person in the room, you’re probably paying with #time instead of #money.
Grateful to the #founders who show up, speak honestly, and help each other shortcut mistakes.

@X 3/ I mean real conversations with people who have actually:
– built companies;
– hired too fast (or too slow);
– messed up cap tables;
– shipped the wrong thing; and
– lived through the consequences.
This is what @exit_hours is all about.
@X@exit_hours 4/ No stages. No panels full of theory. Just #founders helping #founders in real time and answering, "how do you know what you don't know?"
The article does a great job capturing the spirit of it, but the bigger point is this:
Order @sugarfina and usually love it! Today, all 3 boxes when opened were hard and jaw-breaking. Attempted to call store and they won't do anything about it b/c it was paid with cash (no record of purchase). It's your boxes/brand, should remedy!
