The Cardano Summit 2025 has just been recognized at the ICE Awards in London, winning the Best International Event category.

Six events. Five continents. One Cardano community.

That kind of reach takes a strong team, committed regional partners, and a community that keeps showing up. This recognition belongs to every one of them.

Governance requires not only participation, but also a commitment to accept collective decisions. The Cardano community has spoken and we respect the outcome.

Following the outcome of the Treasury proposal votes, the Cardano Foundation's proposed Cardano Summit 2026, will not take place this year. Despite this, we were heartened to see how close the vote came to being passed and how engaged the community was, and have read every bit of feedback left by the DReps who voted. We were also pleased to see that Emurgo’s TOKEN2049 proposal passed. Now, we will review all current commitments and commence winding down Summit execution.

The Foundation remains focused on the current roadmap and vision. We thank the DReps for their engagement throughout this process. Their thorough evaluation, feedback, and participation exemplify the thoughtful engagement that effective governance requires, and this level of governance remains one of the defining strengths of this ecosystem.

We deeply appreciate everyone who contributed to the discussion, and we look forward to continuing our work in service of the Cardano community.

The Cardano Foundation has revised our proposal and shared the details of how we can make this Summit the best, most impactful yet.

We would love to deliver the 2026 Cardano Summit in Singapore this October and also maximize the Cardano TOKEN2049 presence.

One Week. One Cardano.

This October in Singapore, Cardano will host the most consequential week on the ecosystem’s calendar. 🇸🇬

@CardanoSummit opens the week on Monday and Tuesday, followed by @TOKEN2049 on Wednesday and Thursday. Both events are in the same city and the same builders will carry one cross-event passport that takes them through both rooms.

It’s a single window in which the entire Cardano ecosystem moves in lockstep. The community Cardano has built will gather first and then, together, reach the markets the ecosystem needs to grow into next.

Thank you to the community members who joined us this week on our AMAs and those of you who continue to provide valued feedback regarding our recent Summit Treasury Withdrawal Proposal.

We have listened.

We hear you and we all agree that we want to have a Cardano Summit 2026.

We believe hosting this year's event in sync with Token2049 is crucial to Cardano‘s positioning for 2026 and CF’s goal to bridge Cardano and the world.

We have also spoken with our colleagues in Emurgo and we will revise our Cardano Summit submission as a standalone proposal.

We plan to share our revised Summit 2026 proposal on chain next week, after which we will invite the community to another X Space, where we will provide an update and be available to answer all community questions.
